Carolina Thompson

As a commercial agent, I see my role to serve as a trusted advisor – listen patiently to our client needs, provide market insights, simplify the complex, manage expectations and contract timelines, while keeping all parties calm.

I have 20 years of real property experience, a B.A. in Public Relations/French from Penn State University, Master of Science in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University, and Graduate Certificate in Sustainability from Harvard University. I have a deep understanding of capital markets and mortgage tools as I held a Series 7 license and served as an Account Executive for entities like Credit Suisse and other financial institutions. For the past eight years, I worked for Freddie Mac helping to develop programs and initiatives that support renters and homeowners nationwide. Additionally, my husband and I have owned and managed rental properties for the last 15 years in Northern Virginia. Part of my strategy as a Commercial agent – involves leveraging powerful data analytics, innovative technology, and cutting-edge marketing.

The passion for real estate runs in our family and I am grateful I get to help others achieve their commercial real estate goals. When not working on a transaction, I enjoy family time, meditating, working-out, cooking or traveling. For me “home” is in Falls Church with my husband, son and adorable Bichon named Snowball.
